Globe Life reported another quarter of double-digit operating income growth, with Q2 net income rising 20% to $288 million. Life premium revenue grew 7% and health premium revenue grew 16% year-over-year. The company raised FY2026 EPS guidance to $15.55-$15.95 and expanded its share repurchase program to $670-$700 million after a term-loan amendment. Management is advancing AI initiatives across underwriting, claims, and administration targeting an administrative expense ratio near 7% of premium, and progressing toward a Bermuda reinsurance subsidiary with a Q3 cession planned. EPS of $3.61 slightly missed the $3.67 consensus while revenue of $1.60 billion edged past the $1.59 billion estimate. Shares fell 7.0% the session after the report on roughly three times normal volume before recovering approximately 7% over the following sessions.
