Amrize: Pricing and M&A offset volume and cost pressures

Amrize’s current analysis supports a constructive but qualified view: pricing, acquisitions, infrastructure-linked demand and savings initiatives are supporting growth, while volume softness, Building Envelope pressure and input-cost inflation remain important offsets.

What changed

Relative to the prior-quarter analysis, the current analysis shows slower reported revenue growth but continued pricing support, a completed $1 billion repurchase, higher year-to-date ASPIRE savings, and a stronger emphasis on reducing cement imports.

Guidance delta

Management’s guidance sentiment remained raised; the supplied Q3 analysis says 2026 revenue guidance was lifted to $12.2-$12.4 billion and EBITDA guidance to $2.95-$3.05 billion.

Key takeaways

  • Q3 growth was led by pricing, surcharges and acquisitions, while residential roofing remained soft.
  • Building Materials margins expanded, but Building Envelope faced cost inflation and demand pressure.
  • Management highlighted continued capacity investment, ASPIRE savings and additional acquisitions.

Management priorities

  • Expand cement production and debottleneck terminals and quarries.
  • Launch the Malarkey shingle plant in Indiana and pursue aligned bolt-on acquisitions.
  • Advance ASPIRE savings and increase reliance on domestic cement production.

Methodology

Reported and consensus figures come from FN2's earnings event records. Market reaction and volume are calculated from daily adjusted bars around the event; abnormal move subtracts the SPY move over the same window.

Analyst target low, average, and high values are derived at request time from each named analyst's latest persisted FMP target. The current-price marker comes from FN2's persisted market snapshot. They are sell-side estimates, not an FN2 valuation or recommendation.

Transcript intelligence is a structured synthesis of the current and prior earnings-call analyses. Missing values stay missing and are never estimated.
